Throne mengisahkan tentang kehidupan Uryuu Mizuki(18),seorang gadis biasa yang tidak menyedari bahawa dia mempungai suku darah fae. Apabila Mizuki ditimpa kemalangan,dan jatuh koma, dia mendapati dia berada di alam fantasi.Dia bertemu 7 jejaka yang memberitahu Mizuki dia merupakan waris sebenar takhta dunia tersebut yang kini ditakhta oleh "KAGE" antagonist yang merancang untuk menghancurkan dunia manusia .

Mizuki harus merampas semula takhta tersebut .Kisah pertempuran tragis seorang puteri yang cuba menyelamatkan dunia manusia sekaligus mengalahkan KAGE dan mengambil semula takhta yang asalnya milik dia.
