Renegade is a 2019 science fiction dystopian novel.

The year 2077, was the year a devesational Cold War quickly ended all salvation. The Prodigans predicted a new Awakening for mankind, none of us knew it would be in the form of a virus that would wipe out most of the nation. Destroying the unity of our world into an empty pit of sorrow after nuclear invasions quickly spread to profix the chaos. Afterwards, whenever the world went silent they spoke of a hierarchy, and summoned those deemed worthy. A sanctuary for the helpless, and savors to our frailty. A kingdom secured by grand walls to protect the immune from the infected. Those who were dismissed as sinners were quickly wiped out for their faults, the virus showing no mercy. The youth were selected, cleansed for a acceptable salvation and deemed chosen to prosper mankind from this newfound desolation. Initiating a new beginning for our world to thrive,oh so we thought.  

Uriah, an immune being tested to find a cure for the virus. knew the truth behind the kingdoms wickedness with these orphaned children. Determined to overthrow the kingdom to ashes, and save those treated like livestock. Uriah escapes his tournament where he realizes that his life is on the line. Not only is people searching for his bounty after trying to take the barons life but also surviving in a nuclear apocalyptic era wasteland while he finds himself with a new group of people and experiencing things for himself he's never even dreamt of doing but has to be done.
