Panem is a world of heartbreak, misery, adventure and love. Katniss volunteers for tiny Prim in the Hunger Games and Gale is her district partner. While they are away, Prim and Peeta become friends, and Peeta confides in a secret that he never told anyone. Katniss and Gale are announced star crossed lovers but only Gale feels the spark.
