Detective Arthur Williams spent two years playing cat and mouse with the illusive thief known as Phantom. A year later he receives a phone call from her in prison, she's not angry that he caught her, he won their game fair and square. She wants to help him solve a string of murders which she beliefs are being committed by someone who received the same education as she did. A school for thieves known only as The Academy with a strict code of honour that it seems not all the graduates follow. Someone who has the same set of skills that she used to evade the police for years, only they're using them to kill. Time for a new game.

Detective Lucas Philips thinks he is going after the right killer. His boss just hands him a file and tells him that the killer is Zack Graph. After visiting Zack's sister Madison Lucas gets another case. The case of finding who killed her parents. After arresting Zack, As he begins working on Madison's parents' case he finds that he might have arrested Zack on the wrong offense. He finds that MAdiosn and his boss are lying to him. So Lucas tells the detective he trusts and they form a little investigation team of their own. Lucas soon realizes he needs the help of an old friend and they work together to solve the mystery. But can Lucas and his team keep themselves from giving everything away? Especially when Madison keeps getting on Lucas's nerves?
