She absolutely adored Motley Crue, she loved to read comic books and she could even skateboard. McKayla very easily and very quickly becomes friends with Chris and his friends. However, demons of McKayla's past soon return to haunt her, and they end up affecting her friends and the ones that she loves. All of this while she finds herself catching feelings for Chris; and he, her. McKayla begins to wonder if running away from her problems is the best solution, even if it means leaving the one she loves behind. Because running away from him, just might be the only thing that keeps him safe.

After all, Chris was a musician, and Sariah was deaf. As they dig deeper into each other's pasts and grow closer to each other, Chris and Sariah soon can't deny their love for one another any longer.
