i was walking through the forest trying to get to my friend's house but then i started to hear the bushes around me start to rustle and i got this eerie feeling...
(So this is my first "horror" type story) i do not own any of the pictures in this one shot. If anyone has any ideas of how i can improve my one shot just let me know (if you like it make sure to share it with your friends thanks)

im gna be honest this is a huge work in progress, but essentially After a major traumatic event in Griffen Westons life sends him spiraling into a life he never expected, things seem beyond fixing. He had never felt so empty. But grief has a certain smell. It's a scent that attracts a certain kind of creature when you head out into the woods. His dreams tell him tales before he sees them. He watches this mysterious wisp of white hair and green cloth dart about the moss to evade him. The scent of patchouli and lavender with the pugent musk of sulfur harrasses him into submitting into this feeble attempt at following her. Or It. Whoever this person may be, they heard him calling out. They knew what he needed. He never expected to find himself so enamored with something so unique. But he didnt know how to find a way to stay away from this curiosity. TW for death, grief, suicidal ideation/tendencies later on, graphic descriptions of injury, self harm, and other possible dark themes i will brush up on. edit: wattpad deformated everything i promise it looked pretty at one pointComplete

"A hungry wolf at all the herd will run, in hope, through all, to make sure of one" I heard the whisper again as I sat on the forest floor, blood dripping from my wrists. I knew those words to well and with a gust of wind hitting my face I looked up to see HIM standing in front of me with eyes pure red. I smiled weakly "it's been a long time dev..." I closed my eyes then felt arms wrap around me. "To long that's for sure! What have you done" he growled. "Dev-oh no! What have you done!" I heard two other voice that made me smile. "You all left and moved on, now its my turn" I whispered. "Oh no it's not" and with that said I let out a piecing scream and I felt him bite my arm. ************* It started when I was 6, I was always the outcast of family and they made sure I knew it. So I wanted to leave and I tried believe me I really tried. But when I was going to jumped I heard THE WHISPER for the first time. And the words 'A hungry wolf at all the herd will run, in hope, through all, to make sure of one'. Suddenly I didn't feel so alone anymore and when I turned around, I came face to face with 3 people that are going to change my life forever. And it all started with one very little whisper.Complete

My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. I don't hear footsteps...but as the minutes go by I begin to hear them; the footsteps get louder and louder and louder, matching the sound of my thundering heart. That's when I see his shadow cast over the ditch...over the place where I tried to hide. "Well," he says with a smile in his voice. "I wonder where he could've gone...the footprints stop here...so I wonder if he just...disappeared?" My body begins to tremble. I can feel it now. The pain. I can feel the pain already. He jumps down into the ditch...he stands directly in front of me, with his back facing me. My hand presses harder against my mouth as I try to suppress my whimper, but it's way too late now. But his body tenses up when he hears it. He laughs bitterly as he turns around slowly, and his eyes cut through my camouflage easily. "There you are."Complete

April 22 I've been walking for days, they're still tracking me though. i sleep high in the trees, I double back, walk in the river, cover my tracks, start false trails...it's all slowing me down but it's really the only chance I have. I'm on foot. I'm alone. The day the grid went down I was in the mountains and I stayed put for over a month, unable to contact anyone. The electricity is out, the phones don't work, no running water, no cars, no radio...nothing. It's dangerous to go into towns now, survivors are scared, starving and dying by the thousands, but their bodies seem to just disappear. Sometimes I hear screams in the night that sound like they come straight from the depths of Hell, and the scent of sulphur and rot rides on the breeze when the heaviest clouds block out the sun. I think it's the thing that got Dan...the thing that's almost gotten me. Whatever it is, it's completely unnatural and I just know I have to stay ahead of it or I'll be just as dead as Dan is.Complete

I hear footsteps behind me and i run trying to avoid trees as my heels hit the ground like echo location i can see vibrations in the ground i can see living things trees bushes i can even see the bugs digging under the dirt. As i was running i did what everyone does in a horror movie.... I tripped but then again i didnt see the rock infront of me. Hello this is my first story yay. The House At The End Of Yellow Brooke Street
An eerie silence echoed through the house at the end of Yellow Brooke Street, the wind outside slammed toward the wooden walls making a whistle inside the house from the cracked windows; the front door made a thud each time it slammed toward the wall and the screams from the dead gave the house an uneasiness to it. I stood before the house, while my friends were excited to do the exact opposite of what our parents told us to; I was not. I trusted my mother when she told us to never get close to this place. "You guys ready?" Diana said with joy in her voice, I stuttered. "No.." the fear in my voice was obvious, though no one seemed to care. Dan glanced at me and chuckled. "Really? It's just a house." "It's a haunted house." I said nervously. "Maybe we should trust our parents on this, they told us that it isn't safe for a reason." "You wimp." Diana joked, she wasn't serious; it was just to get me with them and of course she knew that it would work. "It's fine if you don't want to Luna." Lucas said, at least he was cool about it.
