Blueprints

"Can you hear me? Carver?"
The stuffed rabbit mumbled out, his vocal cords dry causing his voice to be raspy and unfamiliar. The sound of a roll of paper falling on the floor was the only reply he got. The other side was awkwardly quiet, the phone picking up only a few sounds such as the rapid breathing on the other line. He then realized, the papers were his blueprints. The phone line went dead.
