The apocalypse has broke out due to radioactive gases from a near by power plants seeping into the air. Nobody in America really knew about the problem until the dead started to rise from their graves. In the small town of Bradford, the dead have started attacking and turning people into zombies. Now Makayla, Spring, Emily, Phoebe and, Laura must find some way to live in this world now full of raiders, mutated animals, zombies and, the undead.

The zombie apocalypse started in April. Hannah couldn't fathom how she was able to remember something so irrelevant, although when she has over a year of isolation from any other living human being it's startling as to how much detail and information one person can manage to reminisce. She was 15 years old when it began. Now, she was turning 17 and nothing had gotten better. If anything, everything had become harder.
