I stood on the roof of my school building, watching as my schoolmates below walked around and interacted with each other. The light breeze and the fading sunset almost made the scene delightful. I really would have enjoyed it if I hadn't come her to do what I was about to do. My line of vision shifted from the courtyard, to the door that  I had emerged from. Kate has finally reached her senior year, the last year of high school life. She was looking forward to it because this is the year where everything will be put up as a good and last memory of high school. Until, her mother decided to go out of the city and moved her into a different school that she didn't even agreed on. Her life starts to turn into nothing but a mess. She was completely invisible on the current school that she was enrolled in. She feels as if her last year of high school life is not worth remembering. This is my first story, Regardless I hope you enjoy because it took a lot of effort, i'll give you a lil sneak peak.. Trigger warnings - abuse, drugs, sexual harassment, suic!d3 Life is a vicious cycle constantly throwing shit my way. Fuck my life. I thought as I brushed the broken glass into the dust pan and brush. The glass reminded me of my home, broken and in fixable, representing the pieces of our hearts after my mother died. suicide they said. Which is a load of bullshit because she didn't put that knife to her throat.

Endless tears were flowing down my cheeks as he continued to reprimand me "Alessandro..please...stop" "No Andrea I will not stop..can't you see what she did.....You are too innocent and generous... you don't know girls like her.....they envy you and when they can't compete against you they engage in these dirty tactics .....bloody disgusting people...." I looked up into his eyes ....my eyes asking him if this is what he thought of me... I was never this low... How could he even think I did this deliberately! "Oh my god...your hand..." Andrea said looking at my hand I looked down to see my entire hand turned red with blisters everywhere. I felt numb earlier but now as I saw my wound I started feeling the suppressed pain I was controlling. My tears betrayed me not just because of his words but also from the pain of my burn. Andrea rushed towards me with a worried look on her face "Maria..bring ..the coolant hurry..we need to call the doctor.." She was something else So pure and caring My eyes lifted to see Ando He had a expression I couldn't decipher His eyes were fixed on my burn but I couldn't tell if he was worried or not. But soon that expression was gone as he turned around and left. I looked at his retreating back wondering since when did he become so heartless. 'I hear it in my ear drums. But I can't seem to convince myself that it's real.' I have no idea what I'm doing. Why am I writing this? I dunno, I felt like it and now I'll probably regret it day by day as I update it. Oh well, time to get drunk off of root beer and write down emotional stuff!

The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" I ask, swinging my feel a little. He shakes his head shyly, his mouth not moving at all. Geez! Why do I want to hear this dude talk so much? "Okay, that's fine. I can give you a nickname." I offer happily. He looks up from his book, raising his eyebrows. I just stare for a moment. He has nice eyes. Pretty brown chocolate orbs. They remind me so much of....... "Teddy." He shakes his head immediately, frowning. "What, why not? You remind me of my old teddy bear. He was a good listener and he didn't talk much..... just like you." I say softly, tilting my head. He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" He sighs, the first sound I have ever heard him make. "No." . . . *Jordan* Teddy!? Seriously!? She gave me a fucking NICKNAME!? What the hell does this girl want!? I stuff my hands into my pockets, walking down the busy street. Forget about her. She's just a annoying pretty girl, she'll go away. Everybody does. She HAS to go away. *Spoiler alert*: she doesn't. Don't get close to people or they'll end up getting hurt. That's my mindset. I've been through enough of that. This girl doesn't belong in my world anyway. She's too innocent. *Mature content* {Just a quick update, I am basically rewriting the story. I wrote it when I was in 8th grade and it makes me cringe every time I try to go back and edit it so keep in mind that it'll get better}
