Kara Zor-El, a little god or rather known as godlet, the race which vessels are created by the highest deities of their realm. Known to earth as Kara Danvers, the reporter to some, a heroine to everyone.

Lena Luthor, a human. A victim of prejudice. A woman being criticized for the bloodline she came from; the Luthors, the family who went on a hunt for the Supers for some unknown reason aside from racial discrimination.

Two completely different beings and families in one world, two possibilities: chaos or harmony.

Destiny? Star-crossed?

Or..

Free will?

THIS WILL BE SUPERGAY. LIKE GAY. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. AND SLOWBURN ALSO!

(SUPERGIRL AU! Kara is not a Kryptonian, but she is still Supergirl. Information will not be very much related to the series. Characters owned by DC, some by me. Plot mine! And this is my first time writing a fanfic, so criticisms are very much welcomed! Unless they are of racism and discrimination, those aren't welcomed in any way! Thank you!)

PREVIOUSLY TITLED "Unimaginable" Don't hate me for changing it and then changing it back I can't come up with a title for the unpublished sequel that relates to the current one but I hate the other one help - | - | - Kara has always been alone. Even on Krypton, she was misunderstood. When she was younger and her mother asked about boys or boyfriends, Kara would always reply, "No, Mommy! I wanna have a girlfriend." Which was unheard of. Kara's feelings towards girls were punishable by death, much like some countries on Earth. So. when she was old enough to understand the risk of loving who she wanted, she suppressed her feelings and convinced herself that she loved boys. On Earth, years later, she meets someone who makes it impossible to ignore her feelings, but she has never made her feel as amazing as Lena Luthor. Lena Luthor was raised in a home where you could be beaten for simply looking at someone. She didn't bother with love or figuring out her feelings about all of her friends. It just wasn't important. When she moved away and her brother was put in jail, she assumed that she was attracted to men. She didn't know otherwise. But when she met Kara Danvers, every thought she ever had about being straight was proven wrong. This was what love felt like. Facing danger at every turn of their relationship, Lena and Kara are determined to beat the odds. A Kryptonian and a Luthor can do anything, despite their older family members' disappointment.

A Sequel to Lena Luthor: Supergirl's True Kryptonite They say that loving someone is one of the bravest things you can do, especially if you've been burned by it before. So, what happens when that very thing is used against you? What would you do if loving your partner was the thing that would kill them? After the Crisis event and Leviathan, Lena Luthor thought her life was starting to stabilize. She and Kara were closer than ever now that they had revealed their secrets. And while Lena still struggled with knowing that her best friend was National City's superhero, she was beginning to lower her walls. However, just as peace settled over National City, Lillian intervened. In a twisted attempt to show her stepdaughter that her feelings for Kara are misplaced, she kidnaps the heroine and subjects her to the influence of red kryptonite in hopes that it would reveal the danger she poses. However, it doesn't go as planned, and Lex, seeing an opportunity, weaponizes the one thing Lena thought was safe - her feelings for her best friend.
