(HEARTS Series #2) Abigail Devine Dela Costa "It will always be you, against all odds." Abigail Dela Costa is the perfectly groomed future businesswoman. Since she was old enough to understand her lifestyle, her father has decided the only path she'll ever take was business. That her sole purpose was to aid her brother in running the company. And she accepted that fate. That role. That obligation. But Russell Agustin entered the picture. He was the poster image of a brooding, mysterious man with a bright future. He has character, intelligence, and maturity. The only catch? He's not in the same social spectrum as Abigail. And that's the only problem. It was also the biggest problem. He made her feel alive. He made her see her worth. In a world bounded by social classes, how can two opposite people meet halfway? ----------------------- This is a standalone novel. It can be read independently from other books in the series. It will still make sense.

Sixteen-year-old Andie Ilustre has mastered the art of being invisible at Ridgeway High. Quiet, artsy, and always wearing headphones while doodling in her sketchbook during lunch, she's perfectly content being the "forgotten" girl. That is, until the universe decides to mess with her peace by assigning her a locker right next to Chase Velarde - the basketball captain, the school heartthrob, and the guy quietly drowning under the pressure of being perfect. When Chase stumbles upon Andie's accidental sketches of him (she swears she was just bored!), instead of freaking out like any normal guy would, he does something unexpected, he gets intrigued. Then he makes her an offer: "Help me win the class president elections, and I'll keep your little doodle secret." What starts as a painfully awkward alliance (think locker run-ins and forced proximity) quickly spirals into something chaotic, unexpected, and surprisingly fun. But in a school where gossip spreads faster than Wi-Fi and reputations are everything, Andie and Chase are forced to ask themselves - how much of who they really are are they willing to risk for something that might actually be real? And in the end, will they survive the madness of high school and the ever-confusing game of "Are we or aren't we?"
