First Book in The Eldest series There lived six sisters in the Bennet household. The first was a very generous and kind soul who helped her father with the estate and tenants. She passed her childhood away from the Bennts at her Uncle's house in London. She was far more accomplished and intellectual than the others. What no one knew was the reason behind her aloof and silent demeanor. She used to get lost in her thoughts for hours and avoided assemblies. The only assembly she ever attended was the one where Mr. Bingley had come with his sisters, brother in law and a Mr. Darcy When Mr. Darcy first saw her, she was in a corner with Mary. Many men came in her way only to receive a polite no from her. At a dinner, even when everyone laughed at Elizabeth's jest, her smile did not reach her eyes. Who was she? Why was he so enchanted by her mysterious self?

***COMPLETED*** What happens when Wickham reveals his true wicked nature much earlier than in the original Pride and Prejudice story? Unlike in Jane Austen's original novel Mr Wickham decides that he will attend the ball at Netherfield Park. Over confident, and enjoying Darcy's unease at his presence, Wickham gets carried away with his drink. He takes his flirting with Elizabeth Bennet entirely too far and his actions have far reaching consequences, changing the normal course of our Pride and Prejudice story. As Elizabeth is forced to reassess her judgements of the two men from Derbyshire, will our couple still find their happily ever after? How far are Wickham, Miss Bingley and Lady Catherine willing to go to stop them? **Warning this story contains a scene involving assault**
