A nuclear blast radiated trough the main hall of Bristol University on their open day instantly killing hundreds of people. All but eight 17 year olds who had their cells so mutated by the radiation that they became immune and also gained special powers. From power over fire to mind reading, these eight teenagers are left without family and no one, not the government or the social service... knows what to do with them.
Plan A- kill them all, people with such powers could be dangerous and uncontrollable.
Plan B- train them, build a small force to protect Britain in times of need.

What happens if chemical warfare kills all but those under the age of 18 and the immortals? Then think what would happen if the chemical bombs cause some to develop powers such as telekinesis. But, others are not so lucky. Sure, they all survive, but some purely become what is commonly known as 'The Things' as they act on nothing more or less than pure animal instinct. All around the world people fractionalize to local 'territories'. Territory 14- based in Birmingham, England- is one of thirteen territories based around the world. Although all are different, both culturally and with the distribution of wealth, there is one thing they all have in common: they sure as hell don't trust each other. And, as people turn on each other Cindy and Adam realise that maybe the war they were fighting was not as clear cut as they previously thought. Coming across 14-year-old Juan, a Chinese operative from Territory 8, they realise that the other side are just the same as them. But, this realisation comes at a cost as they are rejected from their warehouse, which is in the centre of the territory's operations, and become the focus of a man hunt in the place they once felt safe. On a mission to solve the mystery of Ralph's schemes and on the run in Territory 14 Cindy and Adam are in for a whole world of trials and tribulations- and the odds just keep stacking against them. This story is now complete. However, please remember that this is a first draft and likely to contain errors. Chase Arrows, among millions of minors were your average children inside the world government in the year 2234 a.d. They went to school, made friends, and had their dreams. That all changes when the representatives at the top develop M.O.N.O. (Multi-Optical Network Operator) and the Accelerator program. They soon abuse their absolute power and take all ten year old children across the world, cybernetically enhancing their bodies and taking away their minds to create an army far more powerful than anything else so that no one may oppose them. January 1, 2015. The day that the world changed forever. Following the aftermath of a deadly nuclear war between the United States and China, an odd airborne pathogen is discovered. Scientist scramble to uncover what this virus does and find that it is a virus like no other. Once the virus starts to attack your body, you have exactly one year to live. A cure can't be found and the virus is spreading like wildfire. People are still recuperating from the nuclear war and find that there is nothing they can do to stop the virus. I was diagnosed with having the virus on January 1, 2015. My birthday was on the first and so I had just turned eighteen. What a birthday present, getting such a deadly disease, or could it somehow turn into a good thing? One year to live. I had the virus.Complete

In 2037, in the middle of nowhere, lies a newly built testing lab, owned by the government. The government is unfortunately corrupted, and has led the whole country into disaster. People are starving, and the whole economy is falling apart. Since the government needs a new way to get out of this terrible situation, they are finding new ways to make money. Fortunately for them, science has blessed them with a new discovery- a new blood type. The people with the new blood type are said to be able to be resistant to most high falls, and also are stronger than the average human being. They are now capturing people with the new blood type, blood type AE positive. You just happen to be one of those people with the rare blood and you drive in an attempt to escape the clutches of the Obelus. Unfortunately, your attempt has failed, and you are now trapped in a cell waiting for testing. You are their newest subject, subject number 43.Complete

Everything started in 2036. The pollution was so bad that the end of the world was predicted to be right around the corner. As complete panic set in around the world, the rich and important people were all gathered and placed on giant spaceships with enough resources and room to house generations of human beings. Before they left though, the government leaders fired As a result, most of the human population died off and earth was a complete wasteland. The little that survived started building local communities and trying to survive in the destroyed excuse of a planet. On the disaster of a planet, creatures mutated and were born out of the nuclear chemicals; creating new species and monsters that hunted humans. While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. So they stayed civil while still doing what it took to survive.Complete

It was just a normal day for Hazel Roberts and Leo Esteban. Hallie Osborn was affected by the explosion, and was one of the few people her age who survived, and is taken into a hospital of sorts for people like her. Finn doesn't remember anything outside of the hospital, the first thing he could remember was the chemical tank. He's not sure why he's put in there so often, but isn't allowed to ask many questions. He's eventually introduced to the rest of the gifted, he explains to Hallie his time in isolation, not understanding how important he's become. The doctors and therapists are keeping many things from the gifted, and with the help of Finn, Hallie's going to figure out what.Complete
