Sakagami Chiha has always had a hard time really truly connecting with other people. On top of that, her dad left her family all of a sudden and it was up to her to be the glue that kept her dysfunctional family together.

When you put on a facade, a brave face for as long as she did, it starts to change you. It makes you start believing that it's you alone against the world. It makes you forget what it means to have another person on your side.

After years and years of struggle, the facade begins to crack as she reaches the end of her limit. Of course, the person who so happens to see through her is her one-and-only, piece-of-shit neighbour, Bakugou Katsuki.

"I fucking hate you, Bakugou Katsuki."

After her sudden outburst, he is determined to change her image of him which wasn't as easy as it was in his head. When all was said and done, Bakugou and Chiha learnt things about themselves in the most unlikely way possible.

He taught her to be the "fun" in dysfunctional.
