Veronica is now 18 and she is being taken to Windsor Palace to be apart of the Eradication Trials. Her mission is to find out what happened to her brother. Because a few things just don't add up.

She will do everything in her power to figure out what happened to her brother and to prove herself worthy to everyone that thinks she is weak and afraid.

Costin is the son of a blacksmith in the small village of Stead.  Now, 18, he is ready for the Eradication Trials. He feels guilty for his Mother's death and he wants to finally give himself the punishment he deserves.
