Hannah is a 15 year old living in Chelsea. She goes through the normal problems a teenage girl goes through; betrayal, arguments, mood swings etc.
As she loses the friends she thought would be always there for her, would always be a light in the dark, she becomes closer to a certain individual called Samuel and makes new, better friends. She has many emotional rollercoasters as her and Samuel become inseparable and her social status changes rapidly.

Hannah is nervous to start her freshman year at a new school, Thomas Edison High. As her school year begins, she finds out schoolwork is pretty challenging-not to mention her closest friend at school is beginning to be bullied by some mean students. She is also starting to be influenced by a new friend at Thomas Edison who encourages her to make some decisions she isn't so sure is right as a Christian girl, and meets Danny, a fellow student involved the school's drama production. Unsure of the decisions she should make and how to cope with all the bullying freshman year, she learns some valueable lessons in and out of school this new year, about who really are her best friends, always and no matter what.
