What's Done In The Dark Comes To The Light

Creative and optimistic artist Maxine Foster has lived her life for the passed six years doing what she loves most. Painting large canvases, while attending the best art school in her town, and working part time in the art galley. Everything is falling into place when Maxine is offered an apprenticeship at work by the owner/artist of the gallery, but her excitement and happiness is crushed when she comes home to find the once love of her life and high school sweetheart of six years has decided to break things off and move out of the home they once shared. She was left with a broken heart and depression that haunts her mind daily.

Until a familiar face by the name of Dalton Avery makes a surprise visit after all these years at Maxine's brother; Michael's birthday with news of his recent engagement to a rich New York socialite and a climbing career. When the night progresses with celebration and alcohol the long time friends catch up, laugh, and cry. But what happens when the two in their drunken state indulge into each others moment of weakness? And what happens when both Maxine and Dalton's futures are put on the line? But more importantly what do the two have to do to prepare themselves for the illegitimate pregnancy that comes to change their worlds? When we are handed an unexpected life changing card in our lives we have to come to make the difficult decisions to compromise what has already been sacrificed. This is Maxine and Dalton's reality.
