This is a fanfic, non of this is cannon. Also I'm making a few alterations to generation one Pokemon. And yes this is in gen 1, the kantos region.

    Hanako Fujioka is a ten year old girl who has been waiting for the day when she could finally have her starter Pokemon. But once she does, she's told she isint allowed to travel around, due to the Sapphire islands Pokemon being special and unheard of. Hanako must travel between the three islands she grew up with, but after traveling to the final Sapphire island she convinces the supreme council to allow her to explore the entirety of Kantos with her friends Hinata and Satoshi.
