(But Alena wouldn't write it, so I had to take matters into my own hands)
According to many fans of @SapphireAlena 's *The Jedi Reborn*, #Naluke is the ship that should be canon. (And I wholeheartedly agree!)
But Luke's inexperience and Naluma's history of abuse may keep them from ever enjoying the physical side of their marriage.
Many thanks to @SapphireAlena for inspiring me to write this fanfic. I had to know how they ended up with broken dishes on the floor and chocolate cake everywhere.

The Secret Apprentice | Vader x OC
#6 in #DarthVader (6/20/24) This story will not be a straight forward romance journey, as Vader is a dynamically difficult character. I intend to keep him as in-character as I possibly can, meaning this story will not be all butterflies and rainbows. There will be abuse in many forms, as he will not be one to easily open himself to anybody else other than Padme. If you expect a happy story, this is not for you. Reina is one of two daughters who happen to be descendants of the galaxy's most successful family of engineers, the Vondars. A bumpy beginning to her life had led her and her sister, Sabel, into a life of slavery upon the planet Geonosis. Upon being discovered by the Empire, her seemly-infinite skillset with construction, ability to repair mechanics in near record timing, and overall usefulness to the developing Death Star attracts the attention of none other than Darth Vader himself. The two inseparable siblings are ripped apart from one another, their dream of joining the rebellion together dies alongside what Reina thought she knew about her own past. Beyond anyone's control, Reina grew to resent the man who gave her a new meaning in life. Her hatred for him entangled with Vader's own for her, the two of them craving nothing more than to feel the other's blood on their hands. Despite this hatred, an unexpected twist of desire arose between the two. The fear of love that had been buried deep within their own seething hatred eventually began to expose itself. Will Vader allow himself to continue holding onto the past, allow the fear of potentially losing somebody else continue to push her away? Or will he give in and protect her in ways he was unable to with Padmé. This story will be as close to canon as I can possibly make it, and Vader will still have to rely on his suit to breathe. I did everything I was supposed to do. I trained hard; I learned strategy; I kept my secrets buried deep. I love the Ren fics I've read, but I wanted to hash out a less abusive Kylo. He is still a dark lord, and he still doesn't wish to be in the light. But when it comes to love, can Kylo be soft? A lot of the story follows canon. The biggest difference is there is no Rey. No hate to the character, she just doesn't fit into this retelling! She had successfully freed Han from the carbonite but had little time to rejoice at their reunion as Han was promptly dragged away and Leia was throw into the slave vaults with the other dancers. The only way for Leia to keep her sanity is to think of Han. Before meeting him, Leia could sometimes come off as a little cold and snarky to people who didn't know her well, but through all that she and Han had been through, Leia thought she had finally found someone she could open her heart to, only for him to be ripped from her. Rescuing him from the carbonite, she dared to hope they would never be separated again, but there she was, stuck in the cells with Han's execution growing close. In the week Leia is subjected to slavery, she learns quickly that she must adapt to survive even if that meant giving up her dignity.
