In the summer of 1962, the people of San Fernando Valley are relaxing, playing in the pool, and overall enjoying the season of sunshine... except for one particular girl in mind.
Her name's Lucinda and she is not having any fun at all, especially since she has just moved, already has no friends, a rough reputation, an even rough time at home and she constantly gets picked on for a thing she loves to do very dearly... play baseball.
She hopes that life gets better for her somehow, but what if that happens over one encounter with a group of boys that have the same interest of loving baseball?
Ever since she met these boys, Lucinda has had her eye on the pitcher... Kenny DeNunez.
Similar to life, anything can possibly happen in this story... you'll just have to see for yourself :)
