There is a long-standing myth of a planet with blue skies and water. Late at night, Elders from all planets would point up at the sky and retell legends of furry beasts, where flying mammals marred the sky with lullabies, trailing shadows above abundant trees.
For eons, the Bureau of Space Exploration searched for the alleged sapphire planet and all forms of life in Cosmos Redshift 7 banded together in an effort to find new life, to form new allies. And in the BSE's Space Craft Center, Hheli and Merci created a bond stronger than any fighter brigade could ever fathom.
There is one problem though.
Merci and Hheli's haven't talked in deciquads. Not to mention, their bodies cannot live in the other's conditions. Hailing from Traxi, Merci relies on high doses of carbon dioxide. And ironically, Hheli was born on Norctune, where the sun doesn't shine and the air is thick with oxygen.
Is this just a problem they can't fix?

After major coastal cities sink to the bottom of the ocean at the end of the twenty-first century, the richest inhabitants of Earth escape the planet to build new colonies in a distant solar system. Thirty six light years away from the Milky Way galaxy, centuries have passed and humanity is well established. In the distant future of the 28th century, mankind had survived near extinction then made it into the wider galaxy. With almost no other sapient life in the Milky Way to stop humanity's expansion. Space was ripe for the picking. Now mankind and the enigmatic Voidrians formed the U.S.S.A. The (United Solar Systems Alliance). Before Mankind became the dominant force in the Milky Way, Earth was in shambles. Natural resources were nearly depleted, diseases were rampant and most of Earth's population was in poverty. Then by some miracle of discovery or a cruel cosmic joke, in the mid-23rd century when all humanity could do was go out into space to search for a new home, a small planet that was black as the void around it was discovered. The humans who landed on the little planet had nearly lost all hope until they stumbled upon unknown ancient ruins beneath the planet's surface where they discovered untold amounts of bizarre advanced technology. Earth and humanity were saved, and the little planet to thank for their salvation was named Umbra. Alice is a xenoarchaeologist, her passion in life has always been the study of ancient cultures, and now she has the opportunity to study the most ancient one of them all. In order to embark on a mission to discover alien life on the icy moon of Jupiter Maria must leave her life on Earth behind, including her father and her seven-year-old son Diego. She thought the hardest part of the mission would be saying goodbye, but little does she know what awaits her and her crew on Europa, an environment that has never been explored from the surface until this mission. Perhaps alien life was never meant to be explored by humans... Will she fulfill her promise to her father and son to make it home alive, or will she fail to make good on that promise like her mother did when she was a little girl? A strange man from the older era converses to someone regarding humanity and its spirit despite the age of technology. An astronaut sets his course of destination to a nearby planet where he will give humanity hope to once again be a part of life itself. These tales of loneliness, isolation, longing, grief; bittersweet love and hope; perseverance and care are like feelings buried beneath the ocean of tears and of water lapping across the shoreline in the quietness of the setting sun soon turning into night that reveals the darkness that we hide within ourselves.
