Run, that's all I knew. Run and you will survive, run and you can save the others. So that's what I did, everyday. Weaving through the stone walls hunting for a way out. Left, right, left, right, my heart beating like the drums back at camp. Legs burning like I was sitting to close to the bonfire. My leather bag slapped against thigh, reminding me of what it held. Water, bread, knife, notepad, pencil, medical supplies and a bandana. But most important to me, an old photograph of us all

'Run' That's all Knot knew, everyday he ran through the maze to search for a way to escape.
Knot thought that it was just another day, run around the maze and be back in time for dinner. But he was so wrong. One wrong turn later he was somewhere that wasn't his home with a boy that seemed so strange yet so familiar.
Longing for the home he may never see again he does the one thing that he knows he can do.
He runs.
But will he find his home? Will he meet those boys again? What about the familiar boy? And will he ever escape the maze?
He doesn't know.
But there is one thing he knows for certain though. He's gonna have to run to find out.

Clementine arrives in an unfamiliar place, surrounded by only boys. She comes to find this place as her new home, the Glade. The girl spends the day as a runner, exploring areas of the maze and coming to the same frustrating outcome every time. That is, until a new Greenie arrives. Will her and her fellow Gladers finally escape? Or will their lives come to an end?
This is book one of my Newt x Reader TMR series. This will be separated into 3 books, just like James Dashner's book series and the movie series. Of course, I do not own The Maze Runner and all rights go to our beloved James Dashner.
Disclaimer: I will be basing everything off the movie instead of the books. I have read the books but I've chosen to base this off the movies.
Enjoy :)
