Emily didn't believe in love. She had every reason not to. In fact, Emily was running out of things to believe in.

Luke didn't believe anyone could love him. Maybe, that's because he never let anyone in. Why should he? People only love the things he could give them, not Luke himself.

Emily was a bit odd. She was focused on the future, never the present. She was quite clever, and always preferred to be on her own. She figured the only person she could ever trust was herself.

Luke was a bit odd as well. He was a little shy, but was learning how to open up. He was living in the present because it's the best his life has ever been, or so he thought.

One day, Luke and Emily meet. Neither of them believe in love at first sight. Emily doesn't believe it's scientifically possible to even be in love. Luke believed in love. He had to. He challenged himself when he found out Emily didn't believe in love. He knew she could never love him, but maybe she could see how much Luke loved her.

Two completley different people with paths going in opposite directions. What will happen when they meet?
