Join me, Kimberly Kennedy, as I jump, feet first, into my adventure to become a full time travelling writer! Of course there will be some bumps along the way, involving frenamies, Don Juan de oh nos!, missed trains, exploding ski pants, poisoned drinks, translation fails, and other various challenges, but if one if going to conquer the world with words, one must be resilient! One must also be able to take a joke, roll with the punches, and occasionally kick someone in the teeth, all while working your hardest to escape the cubicle farm from hades! You must handle things with the grace and style of Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday, with the wardrobe of Grace Kelly on a budget, in a charity shop, and above all with dignity and duct tape! This is the story about how I attempt to take on the world, one tripped up trip at a time.

Introduction Bonjour! I'm Clara Dumont, a charming Frenchwoman who recently traded the elegant streets of Paris for the vibrant hustle and bustle of a new city in America. With a heart full of dreams and a suitcase full of French pastries, I embarked on this grand adventure, hoping to embrace the unknown and discover what lies beyond the familiar. This diary is my little sanctuary-a place where I'll document my triumphs, mishaps, and all the amusing encounters that come with navigating life in a new country while trying to master the quirks of the English language. Join me as I stumble through this journey of laughter, learning, and, hopefully, a touch of serendipity.
