what they didn't know is that something followed them back that night!
The next few days what happened was nothing they experienced before nor did they want to experience it again.
meanwhile, a small boy named Tyler had showed up in town on Halloween night.

Amelia Heart, with her large smile and her infectious laugh, is what most people would think has the perfect life. They would watch as she went back to her beach house, as she went out of her way to stop and chat to her neighbours, as she would get the perfect grades. She was everything you wanted to be, and yet nobody had gotten close enough to her to understand her life in this small town at all. When her plans of leaving suddenly change, and she is forced to start attending the local school, her life takes a route that she hadn't accounted for. A new group of friends, a chance at a normal teenage life, even a potential love interest - things that Amelia had never even thought about happening after everything she'd been through. Things start happening in Amelia's life that simply don't make sense, even to her.
