It's been a year since the Losers defeated Pennywise. Or at least, they think they defeated him. Eddie had been... confused, to say the least, about what happened. Not confused about Pennywise, because he knows how he feels about that. But the day he watched Richie sacrifice himself for the rest of the Losers, Eddie's feelings changed. No one knows how he feels about Richie, including Eddie himself. Deciding on your sexuality at 14 isn't exactly easy.

He has to pretend he's not a prince. And lying? He's not so great at that. Although somewhat desperate for a boyfriend, he never actually expected to actually fall in love... Eddie Kaspbrak. The boy with the fanny pack, who actually likes Richie for Richie. And Richie can't tell him that he's a prince in a place on the other side of the world - and he wants it to stay that way. If someone were to find out, he'd have to move back home and never return.
