Summer is hot and peaceful in a holiday camp in the Yorkshire countryside.

Peaceful until something goes wrong. People are missing and Liz, a 15 years old girl, disappears, for a night. When she comes back, she's strange. She is different. And she brought something with her. From that moment on, something is growing inside the summer camp and all its residents. And Liz seems to have a greater connection to this thing. A mental connection.

Children now have a few days to contact the outside world without endangering their lives and the rest of the world. They cannot escape their camp but they must succeed in getting help by any means. Before Liz loses her fight and this thing gnaws at them little by little.
