Izuku walks the halls of UA in pain. He's kind, and always hopeful toward other people. But when it comes to himself, and his own future, he's hopeless.
He's been waiting for a soulmate, who seems to never want to come, for most of his life. He tries to deal with the pain and discomfort, sure that it will last forever. Everyone else is so hopeful for him, and he's confused as to why.
