A phenomenon called Purple Sky strikes earth causing anyone who is outside to die or become deathly ill. Scientists believe was a radiation light wave from an explosion from far off in the galaxy. Little do they know what it really is. They also don't know that it will help lead to the end of the human race. Tara Smith your average 15 year old, or so she thinks, somehow survives death and instead of dying is given incredible powers. She could risk it all and try to save the human race, but it won't be that easy for all of her friends are dead and the truth is scary.
