What does it take for a man known by his peers as an honorable and fearless leader and warrior to take a dark turn and tread the path of vengeance? What causes a man to leave behind the life where he was praised for bravery and valor? What would cause them to go out searching for blood and follow an age old tradition? The avenger of blood is an old concept told of in many cultures. If one man was to kill another in cold blood then his brother or another of his family could kill he or she who committed such an act and it be justified. An eye for an eye. Blood for blood. Darkness fills the heart of the once honorable fighter. He wants only one thing; To see the light in the eyes of the ones that took the life of his brother fade and see their blood run cold on his blade and no one will stop him from his goal not even those he may have once knew and cherished one point in his life. The path of vengeance is a dark path and in some cases... There is no turning back.
