Ingrid has been the schools in-betweener, She is bad and good. Since she was born she lost her parents because her dad ran away and her mom gave Ingrid up for adoption. Then her foster family has taken care of her for the past 14 years. When she goes out to a party one night she walks down a dark alley and is brutally murrdered. I watched as he rubbed the back of his neck and turned around, walking away but stopping after a few steps and he turned around to face me, with a smirk on his lips, "With a face like yours, I wish I was blind." And that's when everyone around us burst into laughter. I thought this man was going to hug me and make me feel safe, but instead, he decided to push me to the ground and make everyone laugh. I've been called things and people have said some mean stuff to me but never did anything like that hurt as much as it did now. But why? Amelia Taylor, a girl living a hard life.
