A normal teenage life really didn't fit Kate's bill anymore. Instead of worrying about a prom date and her upcoming chemistry lab, her focus was almost entirely taken up by trying not to get killed while preventing a murder. A victim of a freak accident, Kate Winsley became the lesser known "Periodic," a sort of noteworthy hero in the city of Greenstone.
