Rose pulled her brush through her long red ringlets before tying it up in a neat bun. She examined her appearance in the tiny mirror. She had on a modest frock which hugged her well defined hips and well rounded breasts. Her complextion was blemish free. Her lashes were naturally black framing in sparkling blue eyes. She looked beautiful. Despite herself she thought of Raven's appearance. It shot a shiver through Rose. Today was no time to think of her twin.

White shining skin Completed 'Her locket started glowing, and a burning sensation started on her birthmark. When their eyes locked, she felt as if his gaze would swallow her up completely. His eyes slowly scanned her body. She breathed slowly, trying to steady herself, then looked away. Even he found something strange in her. She sat in her seat and started to scan him. His eyes were dark, almost black, which stuck out against his glittering white skin. It was hard for her to look away. She felt some sort of connection to him, as if she had known him for years, but she saw him. He was still looking at her: she could almost feel his stare on herself, on her eyes, her nose, and mostly her lips. He looked hungry, as if he was craving for something. In the middle of those dark ashes, a body was laid down, wrapped in a cape that must have been green before but which was now covered in brown because of the ashes. But despite those ashes and these dark smudges, one thing was absolutely certain: she was divine. Her eyes were closed, but her lashes seemed to be long and thick, resting on her cheeks like she was sleeping peacefuly. But all of those traits were not what attracted the Jarl. What did was the streak of hair that rested on her forehead, which had leaked from her hood. Its color was so unique and uncommon for a girl from this country that Tharn remained fixated on it. It was impossible to decide if this girl was a red-head or a blond. It seemed like the gods had not been able to chose in-between those two hair colors and had to give her the tone in between those two: gold. What a waste for such a heavenly creature to be dead, Tharn thought. Well, was he sure she was dead? After kneeling down, he bent over her, placing his fingers on her throat to check if her heart was still beating and placing his cheek in front of her mouth to see if he could feel a breath against his skin.
