I was broken. Lost. Without cause and floating in the dark waters of life, begging for the tide to wash me away from the waves. Nothing could save me from my despair.
Or so i thought.
Ty Ruxo. Ultimate nerd. Straight A's and 4.1 GPA.
He's the opposite of me, but he is the one thing that saved me. Yes, this is cliche, but it's true. He is the one light in my life that saved me from the waves of life.
...............................
"You know me?"
"Yeah. Stormy Star, as you are infamously known as. Real name: Astra Storm, you have bad grades, awful attendance, and no real friends." He pushed his hair out of his eyes.
"Wow. Great to be known like that." My tone dripped with sarcasm and i laid my head on the desk with annoyance.
"You didn't let me finish. Beautiful. Kind in the smallest ways when no one is looking. Smiling even when she's so broken inside that she cant breath, and smart."
I looked into his eyes, but they were nothing but genuine. He was right about one thing. I am broken, but nothing else. I would never be anything else. I smiled sadly at him and stood up, not caring about my homework, only grabbing my book and starting to walk off, only leaving six words behind.
"I guess you don't know me."
