He picked up his phone again, going to close out of the app he was using, but suddenly a line on one that he hadn't looked at caught his eye. 'Must be willing to allow for eccentric work ethics and schedules, as owner of the apartment works independently online.' Virgil tapped on the listing and began to read. 'Four bedroom apartment, looking for up to three roommates. Apartments beneath and above are both empty at the moment, noise is not a problem so long as residents are courteous. Preferred that applicants are male.' Virgil stared at the listing. This was so... so perfect. He closed the app and tapped his messenger app. 'Hey Pat, I think I found something.' Disclaimer: I just reread A Lesson in Practicality by @residentanchor, so there might be some things ever so slightly similar to that, but if there are I am not doing it on purpose and I apologize. After spending several years in a stable environment they're moving again, this time not only are they leaving behind friends but also their mother's grave. Virgil has to convince his twin brother and their dad that, despite his terrible migraines and sometimes crippling anxiety, he won't go down the same road as his mother. On top of having an overprotective family he has to navigate being the new kid in his senior year of high school, making friends, falling in love, and learning how to save a life. I am, however, the proud owner of the hyperactive muse (by the name of Orion who makes an appearance in here) that spawned this story into existence when he was supposed to be helping me work on my other two fan fictions and three original works.
