Seven years have passed since Dawn parted ways with Ash and Brock, determined to fulfill her dream of becoming a Top Coordinator. After many struggles, she finds herself once again second best and still chasing her dream. 
Paul has worked hard, creating a team that allowed him to claim victory in several regions' Pokemon Leagues. However, he has yet to fulfill his dream of becoming a Champion. 
Two people chasing their dreams decide to head to Alola. What will happen when fate decides to allow them to meet?

Elio leans on his friends, especially Brendan, and tries to take the challenges that captain brings head on, and with more climactic showdowns with his greatest rival, Rich, on the horizon, he'll have to have the team at the top of their game if they want to defend their title. New rivals and challenges await the students of Pasio University, but things get dicey when the challenges on the field become insignificant compared to the ones off it... Calem is drafted 3rd overall by Skyla's Mistralton Aviators and settles in to his new home with great nervousness and excitement. He finds that the team of veterans and youngsters alike is not open to his immediate leadership, and the role is much harder than he ever could have anticipated.
