When I was little. I was told that favoritism was a myth. I was told that everybody was friends. But the worst lie I was told was that we are all extraordinary in our own way. The sad part about this, is I believed those silly lies adults told me. All my life I've been afraid of living in the shadows yet all my life I've lived in one. I am the teenager that is not skinny, but I'm not fat. I'm the person who has talent but not enough to take you all the way. Everybody knows about the tortured kids and the popular kids with some kind of niche, but you all forgot about someone. What about the kid who has a couple friends? Who doesn't know what they want or hasn't been bullied enough to be effected. We are a shadow. Mimicking others in fear of stepping out to be ourselves. The worst word we can be called, ordinary. So I guess you can say I am about to tell you the story of a perfectly ordinary girl who meets an extremely extraordinary boy that changes her and all the people around her.

(History) Hi my name is Serenity, and I have a secret I must tell, because you see I am immortal, which means that I cannot die no matter what, like for example you shoot 100 bullets at my heart I won't die. When I first realized I was immortal was when I was trying to save a friend but the bullet went right through my heart and killed her. Her name was Sarah, and she was the only person that accepted me being immortal. One day I will get revenge on her, but that will happen once I get out of here. At the moment I am in jail, I've been telling the police that I didn't kill Sarah, but they still don't believe me. The chick in the cell next to me whose name was Raquel said that they won't believe anyone as they have heard too much shit from other prisoners. Raquel said that she did a pretty bad crime, and she been in prison for around 10 years. I am worried that I am going to have to stay for 10 years for something I didn't do. I swear Ian screwed up their minds as he has been in prison for 5 years; well that is what Raquel told me, as they used to be Boyfriend and Girlfriend, and they both did the same crime 10 years ago.Complete

It’s funny how little things that happen in life can change everything about a person. How it changes their attitude, appearance, status in society, personality, and much more. I was your typical teenager, I hung out with all kinds of people, I loved making new friends, I didn't care about appearances or which group you were from. Then I started high school and everyone started changing, the cliques got worse and some of my friends had become too good for the rest of us. Life went on though no matter what there was a group of us that refused to let the politics of high school change us, but no matter what slowly each one of us fell into it all whether we realized it or not. Our group went from tons of people to a mere few. All that was left was those who didn't play in any sports, wasn't a genius, wasn't asked to join the more popular crowd, and who had no school spirit. You really found out who your true friends were through the transition of grade school to high school. I still got along with everyone although I only would hang out with my small group. Even we had let the politics of high school change us whether we realized it or not. We each had changed our outlook on life and our attitudes a little here and there but that could have just been considered as us growing up as well. I like to think that we were shaped by the harshness high school brought with it. Our group went through major changes our senior year not that we had expected it to happen or even wanted it to happen but it did changing our lives forever.
