It's Ivy Scott's first year in college and things are not looking up for her. All of her "friends" dropped her, or went to a totally different college. She is starting a new period of her life alone. Well, not totally alone, her ex-boyfriend, Brian, attends Boston University also. But what happens when she goes to a coffee shop and meets Blake Roland, a charming, handsome, young man who also attends the university? Do things actually start looking up for her?
This is Blake Roland's second year at BU. He is happy to get away from his father who causes nothing but trouble and go back to his studies. He's all work and no play. Although this doesn't stop his friends Stuart, Brian, and his younger sister, Evelyn, attempts at dragging him out of his little study hole. One day while complaining about a cafe's lack of tea, a girl catches his eye. She's a brave, feisty, goofball that immediately captures his heart. As they build a stronger connection, the more worrisome Blake becomes. Something's holding him back. He's hiding something, but what? What is Blake Roland's secret?
It seems like everyone and everything is against them, will they get through it?
