Daeriel knew that fate could be cruel. After all, she was orphaned and left the sole survivor of the attack on her kingdom, doomed to carry the scars and nightmares of her youth for the rest of her immortal life. 

And yet, fate also left her with a powerful family heirloom and a chance to avenge her people, a chance she so desperately sought after. 

As Daeriel embarks on an epic journey alongside nine other companions to destroy the dark lord, she begins to realise that vengeance comes at a cost.
