" I was sent down here for a reason, Isabelle," the way he spoke sent shivers of pleasure down my spine. "That reason is you." My heart stopped beating momentarily. It was as if the whole world stopped, but nothing really slowing down. A glimpse of forever. ************** When Isabelle Snow was in a terrible fire, she thought she had seen the lights of death. Waking up in a hospital with no friends or family by her side was the least of her problems. It had always been like that for Isabelle. Prepared to rip anybody and everybody's throat out at any given moment for looking at her wrong? Absolutely. Claudio had waited far too long for his mate. Nothing was getting in the way of their forever. Not life. Not death. Certainly not a war that she'd be heading. "Because I've waited a long time for this.
