This story takes place during Veronica Roths's book Insurgent. All character and events are true to her writing of Divergent and Insurgent until this point.
The conflict between Tris and Peter over the stolen hard drive has taken place between Tobias and Peter instead. Tobias is taken into Amity custody and administered Peace Serum. Tris is left to care for the unusually happy boy while fighting through her own demons.
