Alora Bloom and her mother live along the gates of the magical realm and the human realm. It is said that the gates are the most dangerous place because anyone can come through and attack you.
But what happened when Alora finds out the gates aren't the most dangerous place to be. When attending the ball her grandmother is hosting her world comes crumbing down and she learns that the things she thought she knew were all lies.
