Macey Andrews is just an average girl, she sticks to her own little world with her best friend Tia Wilson, and her crumbling family. All she does is care for her younger brother Carter and work hard, that is until Tia introduces her to her cold and rude cousin Alex Reed. 

He's the complete opposite of what she was expecting, but it seems unlike most typical girls, Macey truly does  enjoy being surprised in this case. Especially when her surprise has green eyes like his.

"You're staring" 
I hummed in agreement, "I am", he looked so incredibly focused, I don't think any girl could resist staring at his face as his eyebrows furrowed and his gorgeous green eyes narrowed, tracing each word on the page in his mind. 
He looked up from his book and gave me a dead serious look. "Stop it", I shook my head.
"No".
"What is your issue?"
I scoffed, "What's YOUR issue?"

I responded with a short laugh, "ditto". 

Funny how polar opposites are so different, but I like to believe they are attracted because at that time, they are exactly what they need for each other.
