Alex Uzuka, a Xaela Auri, a warrior in training, finds herself on the shores of Limsa Lominsa. This lone adventurer soon finds herself in more than she could ever imagine. She sets off to make her late father proud as she continues her training to become a great warrior, just like his ancestors.

On her travels, she finds other adventurers seeking fortune and all around good times. She joins them in their free company without knowing the true danger always lurks in the shadows.
