"There's a reason why we survived the outbreak, because we're chosen to live and fight for another day." - Dale

some survived.

some succumbed.

some took advantage of it.

When five boys with completely different personalities stuck together to fight for their survival during an unexpected zombie epidemic caused by an unknown virus, do they have what it takes to stay alive together amidst the clash of personalities and the chaos occuring all around them as survivors lose their head -literally- and the living dead starts to dominate?

Will they manage to finally find a place called home and find their own peace?

Follow the adventure of five boys looking for a fighting chance.

-- important note --

-- the author's first language is not english, here's hoping fellow readers could bear and cope with any grammatical errors et cetera.

-- the flow of the plotline moves VERY slowly but it gets better as the chapters went on, hopefully...?

-- first book the author has ever seriously written, so please understand if there's any amateurism sensed throughout the book! I'm no professional writer!

-- i wrote this book to challenge myself in english writing, so again sorry if there's any repetitive usage of words or plot holes!

-- most importantly, sit back and enjoy.

"I'm the one asking questions here, darling. You can ask questions when I say you can ask questions. Got it?" he spat, his tone laced with cold authority. **This is a spin-off of my book Zero. Some of the characters will be the same, but this book can be read as a stand alone.** Everyone has made mistakes before, but not everyone has made mistakes that induce the zombie apocalypse. Ella Fairchild is one of unlucky few who can say she's made such a mistake. She didn't know what she was doing. She thought she was doing good for the world. She was wrong. But to her, none of that matters. As the last living person who contributed to the creation of H-26, more commonly known as the zombie virus, Ella shoulders the weight of the world for her mistakes. Nearly a year after the outbreak, Ella has a chance to try to right her wrongs. She hasn't been outside the walls of the safe establishment since the virus spread. Now, inexperienced, weak, and scared out of her mind, she'll do whatever it takes for a chance at stopping the virus. But she's not foolish, Ella knows she can't do this alone. Kyle Russell is a certified bad ass, an ex-Army Ranger come out of retirement to save the world from zombies. He's sinfully good looking, a little rough around the edges, and doesn't sugarcoat anything, but he's the guy you want on your team. He and his team of runners haven't failed a mission yet. Amongst their own, and even civilians, they're rock stars. They're the people who give everyone hope that a war against zombies that can be won. They're the exact opposite of Ella. They're the best, and if Ella is going to succeed, she needs the best. **This is a spin-off of Zero and will feature some of the same characters. However, it can be read as a standalone.

Some fates are worse than death--survival is one of them. In the two hundred years since humanity left the Earth's surface to live in the sky, life on the ground faded to a myth, a tragic memory from which they severed themselves to survive. They floated above continents turned to sand and lands swallowed by the seas, watched storm after storm rage against their cities and their monuments until they broke apart the last vestiges of civilization in penance for generations of human greed. As a lightning harvester charged with flying her ship into these storms for energy, Raina has seen more of the planet than most. She has spent her entire life soaring above its craters and scars, studying the gaping wounds of human devastation, as she honed her skills and became the youngest captain in storm-chaser history. Her ship has flown for generations. Her skills are unparalleled. But none of that matters the day they go down. ~ Praise for Earth, After: "I'm so not ready for this ending. [AU Zombie Apocalypse book] - Some Parts are Private, so you'll have to follow me (Sorryyy xx) Even since before the dead started walking in the streets I'd always been a very cautious person, never go out late or alone, don't trust strangers. Who would've guessed being cautious is what helps keep you alive in the middle of a zombie apocalypse? It's easy enough to fight off one or two, but taking a herd on by yourself is a death wish. They just keep coming, they don't care about anything other than spreading the virus. See that's the thing about the dead. They have nothing left to lose.. Warning: Random, emotional stuff ahead, read if you dare.
