Aladdin, a thief from Agrabah is caught in the palace and sent to the depths of the desert to retrieve a special lamp as punishment for his intrusion. While captured, Aladdin wishes for nothing more than to untangle himself from this mess and hold the woman he is falling in love with in his arms. However, that dream becomes absolute when Aladdin is sent into the roaring mouth of a cave in search for a treasure in return for her safety and his death. While seeking, Aladdin stumbles out of path and into present day Seattle where Naomi, a woman strangely alike the one he left behind, greets him in a white lab coat.
Aladdin, Mena Massoud in the new world, attempts to assimilate in a different world where he struggles to understand the cruelty in humanity, his existence, and love. As Naomi fights to find a way to return Mena to his home, she embarks on a journey of love and science where she faces dilemmas about her choices and what she's destined to be.
