**Cover art and original concept by noxatn on Tumblr! (https://noxatn.tumblr.com/post/185158111907/ghost-au-ive-been-working-on-uwu-michael-was-a)** On May 27th, 1983, 17-year old Michael Mell was discovered on death's door in his cozy New Jersey home, and since then, the house has never been the same. On March 19th, 2019, Jeremy Heere and his father officially move into the exact same house Michael met his untimely demise in, and immediately the younger of the two can tell something is seriously wrong with this place. It's been vacant for almost 6 years, potential occupants having given up on making a home out of the place and the terrible memories it holds long ago. There had been odd reports that chased away potential buyers for the longest time, reports of unexplained terrorization of the home's inhabitants, like some sort of entity wanted them out immediately, which made Jeremy rather wary of moving in. Not that he actually believed in beings from beyond the grave, but the prospect always made him jittery. Still, the house was cheap, and the potential of having a ghost possessing the home was a silly reason to avoid such a steal. And everything seems remotely fine, until one evening when Jeremy catches himself exploring a room he had no business being in: the basement. Michael's old bedroom. That one night of cautious exploration introduces Jeremy into the world of a young boy, strikingly similar to him, who was taken from this world far too soon. A misunderstood spirit, one who just misses the life he left behind when he passed into the world of the deceased, one who just wanted and still wants someone to call his friend and to endure this difficult afterlife with. Jeremy intrigues him, and vice versa, and it's not like either of them are going anywhere. Might as well make the most of a seemingly impossible situation.

*COMPLETED* Jack recognized him immediately, "Son of a bitch..." his perturbed voice echoed through the large room. The man remained silent, never breaking his focused gaze. "Now I have to deal with you? 'Jameson', right?" Jack continued, approaching him, "Who's next?" Only dead air replied. Jack grew impatient, "Can you fuckin' speak or are you-" "I'm afraid you won't get a word out of him." A calm voice interjected. Jack turned around to find another character from his computer screen manifested into a reality. The curious white mask was already etched into his memory - his hands clasped behind his grey shirt and black jeans. He stood composed with an air of pretentious mystery. "...You." Jack growled. Suddenly Anti was the least of his problems. - From Section Three: "̸Yo̸u ̴C̷an̸'t ̶Get̴ ̷Ri̷d̴ o̷f̶ M̴e̴...̷" ---------- October 2016... the month no one in the JSE community will ever forget.
