Amman'ul: The Sword Does Not Rest

Amman'ul is a fictional city that I wish to incorporate into a DnD campaign soon in the future. This is one of the many stories that I wish to entail into it. This peculiar tale follows the story of a soldier turned revenant, longing for his opportunity and chance for revenge to come to fruition.
Maelith Stone was as strong as the name suggests...alas, his fortified soul couldn't out-do the sword of the enemy, who swore Amman'ul would trade nothing more than the ashes of their people for bread. Stone was laid to rest..but he wouldn't sleep. Rage overcame him, much like the torrent of people who flowed through. A fire burned in his soul anew, stoked by those he wished to avenge at his outpost that day. Maelith will soon discover he's never felt more compelled to find those who wronged him...especially when he though they were right.
As much as I know this is entirely fictional, I know that my work is not immune to error. As a reader and someone who has devoted time to feeling and thinking about my tale, I am open to criticism and help. PLEASE leave comments and tell me about what you experienced in these pages and words. I want this city to be thorough and flavorful when I present it to friends and players. Also be prepared to learn a lot about somethings you may have never heard of:)

that one SWURD
Long ago, when the world was young and humanity struggled against the forces of chaos, the gods intervened. They forged a sword, not as a weapon of destruction, but as a gift of hope. Each god poured a fragment of their essence into it-courage, wisdom, resilience, and strength. It's a sword meant for everything possible. For centuries, the blade lay hidden, waiting for the right moment to be discovered. It wasn't buried in gold or locked away in a grand vault-it rested quietly in the heart of the earth, untouched and unseen, until the time was right. When the first hand grasped the hilt, the sword came alive. Its surface shimmered with an otherworldly glow, a promise of the power within. The one who found it didn't know the gods had shaped it, nor did they understand the weight of what they held. But the sword recognized them. It responded to their strength, their resolve, and their needs. As the blade cut through the darkness for the first time, it wasn't just its edge that brought change. It was the force behind it-the will to fight for survival, for something greater than fear. With every swing, the sword grew brighter, stronger, as if it fed not on blood but on purpose. Though the gods forged the blade, it wasn't theirs anymore. In that moment, it became part of humanity, a bond between the divine and mortal worlds. And for the one who wielded it, the sword was more than steel and magic-it was a companion, a guide, and a silent promise: you are not alone. Thus began the sword's journey, not just as a tool of battle, but as a symbol of what humanity could become. And though its path was just beginning, the gods knew it would go on, far beyond what even they could imagine. (this is my very first novel. I got my inspiration from a nail clipper)
☽✧ Lost In Prythian ✧☾ {Rhysand x OC}
Estelle Beaumont just wanted a peaceful hike on her last day of vacation. Instead, one ill-starred moment of curiosity leaves her miraculously stranded in the fictional world of Prythian: a faerie realm full of ruthless court intrigue, rampant misogyny, and enough deadly magic to keep anyone up at night. Armed with foreknowledge that's only helpful when it isn't actively trying to get her killed, Estelle quickly discovers that living through the story of ACOTAR is far less fun and far more perilous when it's her own basic-ass, untrained mortal life on the line. The plan is simple: keep her hands off of the plot and survive long enough to find a way back to the family and love she left behind. But the so-called "Mother" clearly has other ideas in store for Estelle, forcing her to confront an unsettling truth-her role here in Prythian may be far greater than that of a passive observer. As Estelle reluctantly abandons her original plan, uneasy alliances form, old wounds reopen, and fractured trust begins to mend. Love, loss, and the scars of the past converge as she slowly comes to realize that the family she thought she'd lost may yet take on a new shape-and that the life she left behind might be exactly what prepares her for the fight ahead. But the cost of shaping Prythian's future-and her own-may prove to be more than she can bear. After all, it's a future that was never meant to be hers in the first place. And this is all that damned Cauldron's fault... ☆⊱──────⊰ ☽✧☾ ⊱──────⊰☆ A/N: Warning: This fanfic is purely self-indulgent, with long-winded introspection and a major slowburn romance. Read at your own risk lol. Also if you don't like self-insert/iseki like tropes were an OC who read the books ends up in the fictional world as the new main character, you might want to skip this. Some things will stay very familiar, others will diverge completely, and I plan to add extra world building along the way. **Trigger W
The Circles of Magic 🌳 (The Curse of Magic Book 1)
As a Cursed elf, one born with no magic, Edwyr has been forced to live among humans for over ten years. He doesn't mind his job of defending the town that he now lives in from beast attacks, and he gets along with most of the humans well enough, but he can never quite make the bitterness and resentment over being exiled go away. Life goes on as usual until a talented but inexperienced elf named Feyrith arrives and tells Edwyr that the High Elven Council wants him to help Feyrith on a quest. Despite his hatred towards the Council, Edwyr ends up agreeing, if only because he doubts Feyrith can survive a trip like this alone. The task is to investigate strange magical energies in a ruin a few days' travel away. Edwyr assumes that the only thing to worry about will be avoiding getting killed by the jungle wildlife, but the mission turns much more complicated when they stumble across a conspiracy that aims to change everything about the elven society. Including both of their destinies. --------------------------- [word count: ≈ 90 000 words]Concluída
The Sword of Stone - Sworn Honours
"I am the sword of the crown, the shield of the realm and protector of the people. Without doubt, without failure, I shall guard the innocents against the malignant forces of magic. I give my heart and soul to the righteous and pray for the Father's mercy, for I shall show none." Sir Rolan Coytak, a paladin of the Holy Paladin Order of Farikesh, a seasoned and grizzled knight of twenty long years, is sent on a mission to the lands south of the Kingdom of Harliya, Amberfall, to investigate the rumours of blood magic. Travelling with his clumsy and naive squire, Rolan is greeted by many people, many with grace and dignity, others with suspicion. He is told by the Baron of these lands, the young Simon Greycrow, about bandits in ruins deep within the Redwoods of Amber that may hold what he seeks. But as Rolan travels these dark, beautiful, eerie forests, he learns that magic is not the only problem these lands have. Facing a great challenge as he uncovers the truth of the rumours, Rolan must make a decision that may haunt him for the rest of his life.Concluída
NEVER SPLIT THE PARTY: The Adventures of the Creeping Bam (BOOK 3: Warmer)
After their ill-fated attempt to capture the mysterious and deadly VANDRYSS and her cohorts in the port city of UNTERMER, THE CREEPING BAM are forced to regroup and lick their wounds (some more serious than others, especially for SHAY) as they look for fresher angles in their hunt to find GAEL's missing father and uncover the truth behind this increasingly worrying conspiracy. The trail produces a promising lead in retired smuggler ORRIC JAMMUND, but also places them in the sights of cold-blooded corrupt noble REFIK HONTIRESK. While they find fresh allies to aid them along the way(including a few with ties to more than one member's past), their current misadventure has just become a good deal more complicated - Hontiresk, keen to wash his hands of this inconvenience once and for all, has hired THE ERRANT NIGHTS, a seasoned rival gang of sellswords from the Southern lands of ABHARET, led by lethal dragonhalf warrior DRAMRATH MALLYS, to "accident" them away as discreetly as possible ... IMPORTANT: Please note this story includes content that may be considered mature, such as moderate battle violence, some strong language and occasional sexual scenes. The Prince's Shield- An Aarmau prince x guard AU [COMPLETED]
The Kingdom of Ru'aun was rich and plentifully, if you were lucky enough to live in the inner city, Falcon Claw. Outside of those walls was where the poor stayed poor and poverty stayed brutally common. There were 11 closely built towns, but the 3 biggest were O'khasis, Scaleswind, and the Neapolitan villages. That was not where Aphmau was. She was born and raised in a small village far to the east called Phoenix Drop. She was thrown into guard training by her parents at the age of 12 to give her an opportunity in life. After 6 years of intense, tiring combat training and schooling, she'd been chosen to move to the castle as a guard. Of course, she wasn't expecting to be guarding the Crowned Prince of the Falcon Claw Castle. If she had the chance to go back to that day, she'd take that chance and run for the hills while she still could. 19 year old Prince Aaron, wanted absolutely nothing to do with her. He didn't want to be watched over, he didn't want to be guarded, he just wanted to be left alone for once in his life. With his luck, that was impossible. He never wanted the crown. He was intelligent enough to rule and he acknowledged that but he always wished he could just be free of his binding curse. To think that would all end with a royal wedding. ------------------------------ Character credits to Jess as per usual and cover credits to Nxhirbyzt!!Concluída
