The tiny town of Aimsville Iowa was about the most boringly perfect town to ever exist, or at least 17 year old senior Emerson thinks so. However, as one knows, every perfect picture holds a secret. Emerson learns the hard way the true nature of those that surround him. He discovers a darkness deep within himself that threatens to spill into waking hours, and eventually something in him breaks. Everything comes down to one random Tuesday in January 2020, the day a student enters Medowview High school with a gun and opens fire. Can Emerson rectify this tragedy? Can he control the "Shooter"? Who knows?
