The days sped up fast, soon the burial was over and life had to continue right?
Why did it feel strange that she wanted the earth to just stand still, but if the earth stands still when everybody dies, what year would we be in now?
She grew numb to feelings and oblivious to her surroundings, and anyone who tried to reach for her was wasting their time, she had just realized how the world works and disappointment was not what she looked up to, so she runs away from it before it even introduce itself.
Wake up, brush her teeth, throw in whatever she finds and go for class, she barely existed, the previous day was always a blur to her.
She stopped doing everything she loves to do, it always reminded her of him, but who was she kidding, he was involved with everything that concerns her, he was her life guard, her coach, he taught her everything she knows.
Her purpose was lost, no reason of existence, she begged God to take her life because she had no reason to live anymore.
'Give it to somebody who deserves it'
she'll always yell to God.
Did he even listen to her?
She concluded he wasn't even there, and if he's ever there and he's pretending not to listen to her then she hates him for it, she hates him for making her sad, for taking everything that ever mattered to her, for not caring how she felt, for creating the world.
She hated God and the world and everything it was made of.
‶Get out of my sight before I do something I'll regret!″ the eldest shouted, his voice laced with fury.
‶I will. But I'm taking her with me,″ his younger brother replied, his expression unwavering.
‶Don't you dare come near her! She won't end up like you!″ the eldest retorted, his eyes ablaze with anger.
Amidst their yelling match, a young girl sat under the table, her eyes overflowing with tears and head throbbing uncontrollably. Her family had always been an unconventional one, but that day marked its transition from unconventional to unhappy.
*************************
Miles apart, a young boy looked at the star marred sky with twinkling eyes. As the shooting star made its appearance, he closed his eyes and prayed for the one thing he craved for the most.
'A happy family.'
‶What did you wish for?″ a manly voice interrupted him.
‶Death.″
